Everyone assumes there's not going to be a PC version, but from what I read when asked, he gave a grin and kept his mouth shut.
Of course there's lots and lots of things we don't know about.
We don't know how Dust 514 will work or what it'll offer to those that play it.
We don't know exactly how it'll tie in to Eve online.
We don't know exactly what the relationship will be or how it'll be tied between the two.
We don't know exactly what form of representation in Eve-online, Dust 514 will have either. Will EVE players get orbital flights to check out ground forces? Will the hiring of mercs be via shared forum or ingame - will it be private or public? Just how much information will be needed to 'employ' mercs?
Just far too many things to deal with, in the meantime people should be getting stronger and richer every day so that they are more able to withstand what's coming just around the corner (I'm not specifically talking about Dust either) and hope they can wether the storm.
Now I just have to decide wether or not an FPS shooter is for me, as well as getting a tv and a console for the first time in a decade!!

... 5. They take calculated risks. What they are doing is just a start, EVE could be the best game ever. Imagine the scope of it, limitless.
CCP are far from perfect but I suspect the interface with Dust will be implemented and changes made as they learn from it.
Its a shame that on the internet its the fashion to go overboard and over react when something is changed. Its far best to sit back, relax and look at changes in a dispassionate way. If then its something you hate, fair enough, but we are far away from knowing how exactly Dust will work.
Point #5 will NOT happen until they get a RL version of the holodeck in action. That could take longer than ambulation so lets not speculate when that will be.

Originally by: F'nog Aside from Generalissima and the OP, how many people in this thread have negative feelings about Dust? I don't think it's that many, especially since Generalissima accounts for about 1/4 of the posts.
I think it's a great move by CCP - a HUGE risk certainly, but then New Eden has evolved on risk and reward since Beta.
